Primitive Stacking Boxes
Primitive Stacking Boxes or nesting boxes were used throughout the 18th century. They are also called Shaker boxes. Their main purpose was practical. They were used to store important belongings, kitchens trinkets, flour/sugar/coffee or even to measure certain kitchen ingredients.
