Newly Remodeled Bathroom with Primitive Decorations

After a much needed vacation, it's nice to be able to add to the blog again.  We also took a weekend trip to a really nice wine festival in Floyd VA where we stayed in a cute little cottage that had some neat decorations that we will be talking about in a future post.

After vacation we came back home and did some more remodeling on our home.  One of the things we did was update one of our bathrooms.  We're not quite done yet but almost there!  We wanted to share a couple of pictures and some ideas that we used to decorate our bathroom with Primitive Decorations.

One thing we did was replace the shower curtain with a Primitive Shower Curtian.  It was a nice addition and has hand painted areas on it.  Some of you may have purchased one of these from our site.  If you have, we would love to hear about it and see a picture.  You can upload your pictures in the Pictures of Primitive Decorations section of our website.

Secondly, we added a small antique box on the back of the toilet and added some of our favorite Primitive Decorations.  We don't have a category for the type of box we used, but if you will use the search feature on our website and search for "cheese box" or "wooden box" you will find some great ideas to use for your decorations.

Inside the box we placed a willow tree, a battery powered candle that flickers, a book and we added some moss and greenery.  Above the box we placed a cute little sign.

Very simple and very inexpensive!  And the great thing about it is you have so many different options when using Primitive Decorations to decorate your bathroom.
