This once politically fueled doll now represents your whimsical childhood memories and helps bring the same memories to your children. The Primitive Raggedy Ann doll can be used to add a fanciful touch to any room, be it in the children's nursery or a fun accent to your country-style living room.

Raggedy Ann was created by Johnny Gruelle for his daughter. Finding a rag doll in the attic inspired this authors leap into the Raggedy world, and led him to Raggedy Ann, and later her brother Raggedy Andy. He turned the characters into a series of children's books, the first being published in 1918. Children could buy the book and their very own Raggedy Ann doll to cuddle with and share in the stories.
