Primitive magazine racks are not usually as big as modern magazine racks because household magazines were not as abundant a century ago as they are now. Some antique magazine racks even doubled as letter holders, they were so small.
Nevertheless, a primitive magazine rack is a perfect accessory to the country home. There are basically two styles: a wall mount magazine rack and the more common floor rack.
A wall mount magazine rack is convenient, but smaller than floor racks if you want to really use it. If you're looking for a primitive wall mount magazine rack, be aware that you may not get many magazines in it. Use it instead for a display of your most recent favorite country decorating magazines and books.
